1. Free cancellation

Every booking carries a free-cancellation window. Cancel inside that window and there is nothing to pay and nothing to claim back.

The window depends on the vehicle, because a larger vehicle is harder to re-book at short notice. The window for your vehicle is shown on its card when you search and again on your booking:

Maruti Ertiga or Toyota Rumion	24 hours before pickup
Kia Carens	24 hours before pickup
Toyota Innova Crysta or similar	48 hours before pickup

2. How to cancel

Call or WhatsApp +91 8983783279, or email booking@rctravels.in, quoting your booking number. A cancellation takes effect when we acknowledge it, so please make sure you have a reply from us.

There is no automatic cancellation button on the website. Telling the driver alone is not a cancellation.

3. Cancelling after the free window

Once the free window has passed, the driver and vehicle have usually been committed and turned away other work. In that case the reserve amount of ₹499 may be retained to cover it.

We would rather move your trip than charge you for cancelling it. Ask about a change of date or time first.

4. No-show

If nobody is at the pickup point and we cannot reach you on the number you gave, the driver will wait a reasonable time and then leave. That is treated as a late cancellation.

This is the main reason a working mobile number is compulsory on every booking.

5. Changing a booking instead of cancelling

Date, time, vehicle and route can usually be changed at no charge if you tell us in reasonable time and the new trip is available. A change that increases the distance or the number of days will change the fare.

6. If we cancel

If RC Travels cannot run your trip, we will tell you as early as we can and either arrange a replacement vehicle or return the reserve amount in full.

Where a trip cannot run for reasons outside anyone's control - weather, road closures, a blockade, an accident on the route - we will refund the reserve amount and not charge a cancellation fee.

7. Multi-day trips

A multi-day trip cut short on the road is charged for the days and distance actually used, subject to the per-day minimum in our Terms & Conditions. The return leg of a round trip is part of the quoted fare whether or not it is used.
