1. The short version

We collect the details needed to run your trip and nothing more. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

2. What we collect

When you make a booking or an enquiry:

• Your name
• Your mobile number, and an alternate number if you give one
• Your email address
• Your pickup and drop locations, dates and times
• Any note or special request you add

When you simply browse or search:

• The locations you type into the search box, so we can measure the route and quote a fare
• Your IP address, used to rate-limit our own paid lookups so one visitor cannot exhaust them for everybody
• Standard server log information such as the page requested and your browser type

3. Why we collect it

• To run your trip. A driver needs a pickup point and a contact number.
• To confirm and follow up. We call or message you to confirm the booking and to share driver details.
• To quote a fare. Distance is measured from the locations you enter.
• To keep records. Bookings and invoices are retained as any business must.

4. Who else sees it

Your driver receives your name, mobile number and pickup location. That is the minimum needed to reach you.

Google. The pickup and drop names or coordinates you enter are sent to Google's Distance Matrix and Places services to measure the route and to suggest locations as you type. These requests are made by our server, not by your browser. Your name, phone number and email are never sent to Google.

Google Fonts serves the typeface this site uses, which means your browser requests a file from Google's servers when a page loads.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

5. Cookies

This site uses cookies only where they are needed to work:

• A session cookie that keeps your search and booking together as you move between pages.
• For RC Travels staff signing into the admin area, a sign-in cookie and a device identifier so a lost or shared device can be signed out. These are not set for customers.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

6. How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Search records and measured distances are kept so a returning customer's quote stays consistent and so we do not pay to measure the same route twice.

Ask us to delete your details and we will, except where we are required to keep a record of a completed transaction.

7. Security

Access to booking data is restricted to RC Travels staff. The admin area is password protected, the password is stored only as a cryptographic hash, and every signed-in device can be revoked.

No system is perfectly secure. We do not ask for and never store card numbers, UPI credentials or bank details on this website.

8. Children

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Children travel as passengers on an adult's booking.

9. Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to booking@rctravels.in or call +91 8983783279.

10. Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
